A One-Month Training Workshop on Soap, Liquid Soap, Shampoo, and Vaseline Production Using Organic and Indigenous Materials in Sokoto State By SGDI.

SGDI provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in the production of Shampoo, Magarya Shampoo, Manteleta,
and Robb using locally available organic and indigenous raw materials. The objective is to enhance participants’ capacity to produce
quality personal-care products for personal use and potential income generation.

Following this, the participants were trained on how to produce:

1. Standard Shampoo
2. Magarya Shampoo (using Hausa “Magarya” fruit as a traditional organic cleansing and hair-strengthening agent)
3. Manteleta (a locally known herbal hair wash product)
4. Robb (a topical balm used for relief, made from organic fragrances and soothing oils)
